Where do you get your inspiration from? It is a question I am often asked.

In this video I take you to my main source of inspiration. You can also take a look around my ‘laboratory’, the place where all the hand puppet coaching and teach with puppets spins that arise in my head are worked out.

This video is a bit different than other videos. You can see a bit of my places. There are no examples with a puppet, but when you watch closely, you’ll see a sneak peek of an item that will come back in my next webinar (I wonder if you will discover it). Nothing in this video is staged. If my desk is full, it usually means that I am busy with (too) much at once. Right now it certainly is and is both a blessing and a source of frustration because my days are always too short and my brain keeps producing new ideas.

This year you will see more often an ‘At Helen’s video’ in which I take you into my world. The world from which my ideas arise and the considerations that come into play when I come up with content for my puppet (s) or lesson(s). Think of it as a new section.

I'm a teacher, trainer, developer, hand puppetcoach and author of the book "The Handpuppet as an educational tool". I want to inspire you and help you to use a puppet in class. I'm sure the hand puppet makes a big difference in the life of a child, but also in your life. I hope you're gonna enjoy that just as much as I am.
